By now, the large majority of Android people -- no, make that men and women in the planet -- have seen about Apple's new substitute for Google Maps in iOS six. Proudly introduced during their iOS 6 keynote, changing Google Maps was a different step absent from working with Google companies for the Cupertino giant. Since the start, much has been mentioned about the maps, and their clear lack of some essential information within just the maps by themselves.
We will admit it. It can make us chuckle. As we sit below working with our native Google Maps, more and more we see comments arising from Iphone owners, equally new and outdated, slating iOS6Maps. And now, Google owned Motorola is joining i n on the enjoyable.
Wanting for 315 E 15th in Manhattan? Google Maps on DROID RAZR M will get you there & not iLost in Brooklyn.
Observed on the Motorola Mobility Google+ web page, and on their Twitter website page, the message is distinct. While an obvious advertisement for their newest handset -- and possibly the RAZRM's edge to edge display, as opposed to the 'stretched' Apple iphone 5 -- instead than Google Maps itself, we question how long in advance of the iLosttag will catch on. Likely until eventually Google frees a third - bash Google Maps software into the iOS App Retail outlet, but until eventually then, we can but chuckle away.
